A message from Rufus H. Craig, Jr.-
My name is Rufus Holt Craig, Jr. and I am running for the United States Congress Sixth District of Louisiana. I am a lifelong member of the Libertarian Party. This is my second run for Congress, having run in 2004. At that time I was concerned about the deficit accumulating under the Republican administration. In 2012 my concerns are the same and it appears that neither party has the political will to truly address the problems we face. My concerns are that the out of control spending and the Byzantine tax code are bankrupting our nation and destroying the middle class. Without a profound shift in policy in Washington, our nation faces certain financial collapse. It is important to provide an alternative to the two major parties for people to know there are solutions which are not being addressed by either. Please consider me when you vote in the November election as a message to the current political establishment that the deficit problems must be addressed in a fashion that provides real solutions.
